UK Support?
Hi,
I'm interested in using your solution for our business: www.flavrbox.com
We're based in the UK and I wanted to check whether that's an issue at all?
Thanks,
Seb

It's not. We have two solutions for UK merchants. 1) Ogone gateway -- they can help you with a merchant account. 2) CheddarGateway with a Payvision merchant account.
Contact Ogone directly if you want to go that route. For Payvision, you can fill out the attached form.

Hi Mark,
Thanks for the quick reply.
We currently use Paypal Website Payments Pro as both our payment gateway and merchant account. Is there any way we can use Papyal as the merchant account with CheddarGetter? Or would we need to open a new merchant account with either Ogone or PayVision?
Also, I've been playing around with a dummy account and was wondering; if we use the hosted payment pages solution rather than integrating via the API, are customers able to make changes to their account afterwards? (e.g. pause subscription, change payment or shipping details etc).
Thanks,
Seb

Hi Seb,
We have not had any UK customers successfully use Website Payments Pro from the UK. The issue that they have run into is that Paypal requires a £30000 transaction history before approving an account for reference transactions (which are necessary for granting CheddarGetter or any other billing system third-party permissions). They see reference transactions as high risk and don't enable them by default.
That said, if you have a long-standing history with Paypal, you could definitely contact them directly and ask them to turn on reference transactions. In that case, you would be able to use Website Payments Pro with CheddarGetter.
The alternatives are Ogone and Payvision, you are correct.
And yes, you can send customers to an /update url by passing in their customer code. From there they can make those changes to their subscription.
