Static product?
More and more, it's smart to have a one-time fee option in addition to your subscription product. Can I not set up a product that's just a one-time charge?

You can add a one-time charge to an existing subscription.
You can also create a pricing plan with a setup charge for the one-time fee. Then immediately cancel the subscription after signup.
You might also consider an annual or bi-annual subscription.
