Next Bill Date Override
In admin console if I change the "Next Bill Date Override" does this fire a service hook? From my observations, it did not look seem to and without this, I wonder how to keep CG info synced with my application when changes are made on CG admin console. Thanks, eric

Hi Eric --
When you change the date that the next pending invoice will fire, it changes the
billingDatetime
, which is what is used in this instance to tie that information together.Jess Pendley closed this discussion on 12 Feb, 2014 03:32 PM.

Hi Jess,
I see that this gets changed, but I would like for a service hook event to
be triggered so that my app knows that the pending invoice date was
changed. This seems to be what the service hooks are designed to do, is
that possible?

Hi,
Any thoughts?

Hi Eric --
I'm not sure what you're attempting to do. The
billingDatetime
is what tracks the date of the invoice. Are you attempting to differentiate between you manually changing that and the organic change that occurs with the scheduled billing?5 Posted by Eric Jenkins on 13 Feb, 2014 03:47 PM
Hi,
I am manually changing the date in the admin console. But I want to make
sure the "service hook" fires so that my web application is made aware of
this change.

Hi Jess, did my last post make sense as to what I am trying to achieve? Any thoughts?

Hi Eric -- We don't have a hook that fires when the billingDatetime is changed. You might consider using another hook (e.g., Subscription Billable or Transaction) to keep your records up to date.
You might also check your records each time your app requests the current customer information from the API.
