Time Zone
Is there an issue with the time zone settings? I've noticed the times on transactions are way off so I went to my profile and updated the time zone and hit save and the field changed to America New York so I saved again but it through an error at me. I logged back in and checked transactions again they were still the old times. So I checked the setting again and it still read America New York.
Can you fix this for me to Eastern please?

Hi Lindsey --
The timezone "America/New York" is Eastern time. Can you be more specific about the time discrepancies you're referring to? Where are you seeing this? Can you give a screenshot?

Hi Marc, yes I agree that America/New York is Eastern time but as you see below, the times are later than what is is right now. It’s 5:20pm but according to these errors, the first one on the list happened today at 8:21pm.

Hi Marc, I wanted to check on this again. I checked today’s errors and even with my profile reading the correct America/New York time zone, the most recent error is reading 19:10:08 and the current time is only 15:51.

Hi Lindsey -- We're taking a closer look at this. It appears that the error log is stuck in UTC timezone while we want all UI interfaces to display times in the user's timezone. That, on the surface, appears to be a bug. When we know more and/or have a fix in place, we'll update you here.

Did you receive my message from 1.5 hours ago?

Yes. I sent that one before your email came in. I’m not sure why it says 5:02pm though.

What says 5:02pm? Please send a screenshot.

Oh, I see. I'm pretty sure that's your email client adding that to the email reply. What email client do you use?

We just released a patch that addresses the timezone inconsistencies in CG in the error log. You should be all set. Thanks for bringing this to our attention!

It's actually Tender (the support system) that's doing that. When the Tender system composes a reply notification to send to you via email, the timezone is always UTC. Confusing, yes. I've just updated the Tender template to include the timezone identifier to avoid the confusion in the future. You can always see the thread with all dates and times in your timezone in the Tender UI (not in your email). I find it easier to follow a thread in the web interface anyway. Email threads can get hairy.
