The for the html element does not seem to line up with the X on the success messages. One example of a success message is after an update to a customer.

These messages bug me because they push down the content that I really care about. So, I want to close them. It is more frustrating when I try to close them and I can't get the X.

I'm using Firefox 39. This actually seems to be OK in chrome.
I updated the width of the element to 30px in firebug and it is at least clickable. However, there are some negative margins and other things going on that make it extend to the left of the actual close X.

Hi Ryan -- We tested this on both version 36 and 40 on a mac and were unable to replicate what you've described. I fired up a Windows VM and did experience something resembling what you've described. The markup and style of the flash messages is admittedly a little nutty so I'm surprised to see it behave differently under specific circumstances. We'll see about a better markup/style combo that achieves the requirements. Thanks for bringing this up!

I noticed a new circular X button today. Nice work.
