OK. I hired a programmer to integrate with cheddargetter and it WAS working but now it's not. I am not sure what changed. I now need to hire a new programmer to fix but am needing your help so I can explain what needs to be done.

https://uresponder.chargevault.com/create?planCode=&code=m_&firstName=&lastName=&email=&method=paypal gives me an empty page.

should my customer enter details here first: http://uresponder.com/uresponder/members/register.php

or should they complete the form on cheddargetter here first: https://uresponder.chargevault.com/create?planCode=STANDARD

I am trying to understand if the client information is designed to get pushed to my site from your services or if the client information is pushed to CheddarGetter from my site?

Thank you!

I really don't know, Keith. Sounds like your first dev neglected to document his/her methodology. That's the first thing to be removed from scope ;)

The reason why you're getting an empty pricing plans box there is because you've specified planCode= in the URL which indicates that a plan has already been chosen. That, in combination with the Disallow pricing plan change on create page when plan code parameter is passed in here causes that behavior.

Beyond that, the answers to all of your questions is "yes and no". You can do it either way. Finding out how your dev did it is probably the key.

    OK Great!
That did help for the most part.

I removed the "Disallow pricing plan change on create page when plan code parameter is passed in"

so now when a new customer goes here:

    http://uresponder.com/uresponder/members/register.php

They can register, and it takes them to CheddarGetter with a drop down to choose the plans I have created. after payment is made it takes them back to the page to login!

Now the only problem is this:

There are some pricing plans I want to be hidden. is there a way to hide some plans from the drop down?

Seems like I am still going to need to do some programming and I have hired a new one but it would be cool to be able to hide some of the pricing plans.

    Thank you!

Hi Keith -- Plans with "inactive" status aren't shown on the hosted pages. More on that here:

thanks for responding so soon. I have been away and just got a chance to see your response. I made one of my products "inactive" and that worked in hiding the product but when I went to process a purchase of that product it gave me an error after making the purchase. here is a snapshot of that error http://screencast.com/t/AVZ3n5IJdTI any idea on how to fix that?

    Thank you!

Hi Keith. If a plan isn't shown on the hosted pages, customers cannot choose that plan. Even if you pass it in the URL, it will not be available.

OK. All I did was make a product "inactive" and sent customer to that direct url. As I understood your previous comment to say that if you make the product inactive, then it is considered "private". I take private to mean that the direct url would produce a sale but it would not show up in the drop down as an option.

Now my concern is back to square 1.

How the heck do I hide a product from the drop down and still have that product work? I have special customers that I want to share a couple different price points that are not available to the public.

    Thank you!
