Mark account as test account

Hi,

I am encountering some issues while trying to run tests on a test account. I received the error when attempting to use the delete-all method to clear out customers. AccessDenied: 401 () Not Authorized - Delete-all is disabled on production accounts.

How can I mark this as a test account so that this method is enabled?

    Hi Alex -- If you're getting that error on a non-production account, then we have a bug. A production account is one with a live billing solution. Which account are you attempting to run this on?

    Hi Marc,

    Thanks for the response. I am attempting to run this on the
    [email blocked] account. The product code for that account is
    SONGTRUST_TEST.

    Thanks for the info. That's technically a production account. It's on one of our legacy plans which allows it to have non-simulator billing solutions. It has both a Stripe account and a PayPal account configured as billing solutions so it is considered a production account. We can convert it to a dev account but then it will only be able to be configured with simulated billing solutions. That old free plan is restrictive so that it allows you only 20 customer records. The dev plan allows unlimited customer records. I suspect that this would be preferable for you. Let me know how you'd like to proceed.

    to convert this account to a dev account then.

    anything from our end.

    Oh yeah definitely. No problem.

    I went to the managed users page, and found that the users currently listed
    there were all previous employees that are no longer with the company, so I
    have invited myself, and a couple other current employees to the users on
    the account, and I've transferred the ownership to myself.

    Can you now convert us to the dev plan?

    Thanks Alex -- You're all set. I switched "Songtrust Test" to the dev plan and converted the billing solutions to simulators. Please let us know if you need anything else.
