PayPal Refund

Client has been refunded through PayPal without authorisation.

Can you please clarify how this might have happened?

   That's sensitive info and this thread is public, so I'm afraid I can't do that.

   Have you any experience with this issue before?

   Also another note, you have West Germany and East Germany available for billing address locations, which causes conflicts with billing systems as Germany is recognised as a whole now (since 1989).

   Hi Jamie -- We received an adjustment IPN from PayPal at 2014-09-18 16:28:04 UTC indicating a reversal. That means either the sender account holder rejected the payment or it was explicitly refunded by the receiver account (you).

   Also another note, you have West Germany and East Germany available for billing address locations, which causes conflicts with billing systems as Germany is recognised as a whole now (since 1989).

   Where did you see that? I've checked the country selector on hosted pages and it only says Germany.

   Hi Jamie -- Sorry for the spam. That occasionally happens with public threads. Do you recall where you saw West/East Germany displayed? We're using a well supported locale library for our country lists and all of our research shows that the West/East designation is not a part of that lib.
