Yearly subscription approved, but stuck in pending state?

So this is the 2nd time we've seen this. We have a yearly subscriber whose payment was approved, yet is still stuck in a pending state. Is this an issue? Will they be pending until they're approved next year? Any way to make them unpending? Any other issues that will arise?

Just nervous that a) their subscription won't renew next year automatically or b) it doesn't renew but we don't get pinged that the account has been cancelled as our system is showing them as having access right now.

    This is the same issue where a customer in good standing initiates the process to start a new preapproval but then aborts that process. The old preapproval is still good but the new one is in limbo. We're working on a temporary workaround for you to revert back to the old preapproval for cases like this.
