Paypal errors
Hi Had a couple of errors in our subscriptions wondered if you
can help please see emails below:
A transaction failed to process for Jigoshop via PayPal.
The customer has been notified via email about the declined transaction with instructions to remedy the problem.
We will continue to attempt the transaction over the next several days or so but eventually we'll give up and the customer's subscription will be canceled.

I have attempted to pay for and join the Jigoshop club on a number of
occasions, however I have continually been getting a "Payment
declined" (see invoices #30 and #103). I want to pay with our company
credit card, therefore I use the card holder's details to set up a
PayPal account during checkout (as it won't allow you to pay without a
PayPal account). Everything seems successful, however we receive an
email with "Payment Declined" after signing up for the preapproved
payment plan.
Is it because it is trying to deduct from the PayPal balance (which is
$0.00 on sign-up) rather than from the credit card? Or is there a problem with the credit card itself? It is not giving any specific
reasons why it is being declined. Is there a simpler way to use the
credit card for a recurring payment rather than through PayPal?

Hi Andy --
It's likely that the customer's paypal account is not properly configured to fall back on the credit card if the paypal balance isn't sufficient to cover the transaction. It may be that the credit card is not properly entered or isn't "verified".

In this case, the error occurred because the sender and receiver accounts are the same. In other words, you can't pay yourself.
