I did a 50% off promotion and a customer redeemed it and they got 20% off. Any idea what happened?

I have found the promotions are effective at getting people to register for a service. You should consider fixing all of the bugs related to the promotions since it is a bigger tool than you might think.

Here is what I do:

1. Put together a well crafted email.

2. Send it out to 1000+ people

3. Have problems with people signing up because something on your end.

4. Lose customers.

5. You lose revenue.

Telling someone you get 50% then not giving it to them makes me look bad and untrustworthy. I lose the customer and usually refund their money. Not good.

   This customer initially signed up with coupon code ADVANTAGE20. The subscription was changed to the 50PANTHERS coupon after the initial invoice transacted.

   We're not aware of any bugs with the promotion system. If you know of anything specific, we're eager to hear about it.

   1 bug is setting up specific packages the promos apply to then going to edit those packages. If you edit them then to add packages then it will only look at the original package. If you try to say all packages then it defaults to just original package you setup the promo with.

   Since it's a config issue and there's a workaround, its not exactly high priority. It has been worked on however, and it will be fixed soon. You'll be notified when the fix is deployed. Thanks again for that report. If you discover anything else, please let us know.
