Get_a_Single_Customer() gives me 404

I can see my test customer in the admin section:
https://cheddargetter.com/admin/customers/get/id/f9029380-b91c-102e...

but i get a 404: Resource not found when I call thru the api:
https://www.cheddargetter.com/customers/get/productCode/COUPONSINDE...

am i doing something wrong?

API DOCS say:
Get a Single Customer

Get the customer data from the product with productCode=MY_PRODUCT_CODE for the customer with code=MY_CUSTOMER_CODE

Path

/customers/get/productCode/MY_PRODUCT_CODE/code/MY_CUSTOMER_CODE

   There are a couple of problems here:

   1. CheddarGetter's id is not the same as the code.
      • The code you've set this customer up with is the same as the customer's email address. Folks usually use a code equal to the unique id for the customer in their system.
   2. When talking to the api, the path is [host]/xml/[path]/...
