2013-01-28 "Unexpected Errors"

Today we got at least 4 errors calling create_customer() API:

CheddarGetterError: : An unexpected error occured.  Please try again later.

This happened in the time period ~ 2013-01-28 17:20 UTC - 18:10 UTC. The errors do not show up in our error log on the CG site, so we have no further information about them.

Errors of this nature during create_customer() result in our new customers ending up in an unstable state, loss of potential revenue, and increased support costs. This has affected at least 4 of our new users today and possibly more. Can you please address these errors?

    Hi Dan -- Sorry about that. We had a sneaky db config "improvement" that affected new customer creation between between the times you referenced. Back to normal now. Thanks for the report!
