Hi,

1)How do we go about changing the email address of an Owner user?
2)How do we give an owner, administrator access rights to new products? We have tried but there is no option to do so.

Thanks,

Sam

Hi Sam. We can change the owner address for you.

To give access rights to new products, simply "invite" the user. If the user already exists in the system, it will immediately have access to the new product accounts.

    Hi Marc,

    Thanks for the info.

For 1 - please change the owner address to [email blocked] and we'll request a password reset.

For 2 - I figured as much, however I would have imagined that the "owner" email address would automatically inherit admin rights to any new product created by another administrator.
This might be true as you say below, but isn't apparent via the admin UI.
To Test --> I have logged in as the "owner" and when I view available products all I can see is the product he created.
When I then go to "Manage Users" as the owner, there is no way to grant access to new products for the owner directly ( I can only see the other admin users ).
Is this a bug or a feature ;-)

Please let me know if i'm missing something.

    Thanks and regards,

    Sam

Ok but I want to make sure of one thing: Are you currently using this account to authenticate to the API? If so, I suggest doing this a different way.

Ha! A feature, of course. User accounts are not directly related to one another, only through the product account(s) they have access to. You must choose to give users access to any new product accounts.

    Hi Marc,

    1) Nope we're using a dedicated Dev user for API access. So you can change the email address without stressing.
    2) Interesting, but this still doesn't explain why:

    I Login as owner
    Go to Manage Users
Can't see owner in user list to grant product access rights

If I view Product listing as owner, all I see is one product created by the owner , the other 4 products created are only viewable by me (samg@) or the dev@ user, where I granted rights when logged in as samg@.

Sounds like a bug to me?

    Regards,

    Sam

I see that you have 5 product accounts, each owned by samg. Here's what you need to do: invite the new user (yossih) to one of the product accounts. Once you've completed that process, we can switch yossih to be the owner and samg to be an administrator on each.

Does that sound like what you want?

    Hi Marc,

Thats perfect. I have added yossih so you can go ahead and change him to owner.

    Thanks,

    Sam

Ok, yossih is now the owner and samg is admin.
