How do I set up a trial plan to not require a cc until the trial is complete?
I want to keep the barrier to entry low and avoid taking payment information up front at the start of the trial.

Hi Chris -- Sorry we missed you in chat. The nature of the chat is that sometime people are left hanging.
You can allow signup on a paid plan by unchecking the "Require payment method on paid subscriptions" box here:
https://cheddargetter.com/admin/configuration/settings
You can then use the Bill Reminder email to notify customers of the end of the trial.
