I have this checked: "Disable notification when the subscribed plan is a free plan". But I'm still getting email notification when someone subscribes to a free plan.

Hi Sunil -- Which template? New subscription or payment receipt?

    Here is the email:

    Subject: Subscription Change

    Dear Sunil Saha,

Thanks for using Perkville Test for Sunil's Jujitsu Studio!

You are currently subscribed to the "Bungalow" plan. This one's free!

Thanks again for using Perkville Test!

Hi Sunil -- Sorry for the delay. That appears to be a "Subscription Change" email which does not include an option for suppressing emails. I suppose our initial spec for the feature didn't include this option because we (wrongly) assumed that it wasn't needed. It seems that the only scenario when this would be useful is when changing from one free plan to another free plan. Changing from paid to free should send the email, right? In which scenario are you seeing the email sent?

    Hi Marc,

Thanks for info. I checked and our code had a redundant call to ensure the plan was set correctly which was causing the email to be sent. We've removed the redundant call do we're good now. Feel free to close this issue and sorry for the confusion.

    Thanks, Sunil
