Limits on tracked items.
Is it possible to set a minimum/maximum/default on tracked items?
We want to be able to charge per item, but a user needs to have a minimum number of items, plus cannot go over a maximum.
Though there is a way to set a hard limit (by setting the price to zero), this doesn't allow us to charge depending on usage.
We can implement some of this in our UI, but were hoping to be able to use CG as the one source of information about billing plans. If we store the limits ourselves, then this gives a slightly messy solution of having having the information on a plan in one place, and the other half in a different place.
Thanks.
Sam.

Hi Sam,
Yeah that is a bit tricky but you can do it using both a hard-limit and soft-limit tracked item.
Use the soft limit to charge for the usage:

And use a hard limit to determine when they hit the limit:

Are you suggesting using two items to track this? Because the way I read it, a single item can't have both a hard and a soft limit at the same time, since the overage amount is used as a flag to switch between the two options.

Yes that's correct, two items would be needed. Sorry for the confusion.
