Site is very slow and API giving me 500 errors

Hi. Your website was very slow (seems to improved as I'm writing this) and a customer charge failed (/customers/new/productCode/ returned 500). There is no errors in your error log, so I'm not sure why it failed. I've likely lost that sale, can you please let me know what happened?

    Dave,

    We experienced an unexpected outage today. The system is back functioning normally. We have determined and fixed the issue, and will post an explanation very soon.
