I have a question about one of the parts in your post titled "Understanding Merchant Account Pricing"
In section 2 (Authorization Fee) you say that that "if a payment is declined, this is not an authorization" and therefore there is no associated fee / charge.
I think most merchant accounts charge a fee even for decline authorizations. Are you specifically talking about Gravity Payments (referenced earlier in the article) or your own fee?
Thanks!
Kevin

Hi Kevin,
Apologies for the delay during the holidays. You are right in thinking that most merchant accounts charge a fee for declined transactions. We, on the other hand, do not and that is what we were referring to in that document.
Cheers,
Dean
