Bug with next billing date for 29, 30, 31 bill dates

Hi guys - We are realizing there may be a bug with the way the system handles the next billing date.

For example, if someone joins August 31st and they're next bill date is in September, the system pushes them to the 1st of October instead of the 30th of September, which in our case, means the customer misses the shipment that should have been paid for in Sept and what tells us to ship. Can this be addressed? Same issue with the Feb 29th bill date this year.

I see this is a known/outstanding issue according to the support forum.

Thanks,

Aysia

    Hi Marissa,

This is typical behavior and is outlined in the Pricing Plan Basics. This typically does not create issues, but you have a unique scenario considering that you deliver a tangible good.

You can manually change the bill date on the customers edit subscription page to accommodate for these customers. To automate this process, your dev team can leverage our web hooks system to take further action on signup.

    Best,
    Drew
